1969 Glastron GT160 With Shoreline Trailer in Hampton Bays, New York

Rare 1969 Glastron GT160. THe GT160 in this catamaran style hull was made for only two years 1968 & 1969. I have owned this boat for 38 years. There are not many left. The boat is complete and not missing any parts. It has been kept year round in a heated garage for the past 38 plus years on its 1973 Shoreline Trailer which is included in the sale. The trailer includes a spare tire with rim. The external gel coat finish is original and in very good condition but has typical minor chips and abrasions associated with age. The hull is sound and no leaks. The boat was completely reupholstered to include seats and floor coverings and is in mint condition. Although not mounted at present, the center hinged windshield panel is included. The Plexiglas windshields are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks. The steering system as well as dash board panel and gauges are upgraded. The electrical system is dual battery selection and includes a built in VHF radio. The boat retains its bow mounted built in fuel tank which is secure and does not leak. The sale includes a bilge pump, anchor, rope, dock cushions and flotation vests. The boat and trailer are both currently registered in the State of New York.
The motor on the boat is a 1969 Evinrude 115 horse power. The motor was repainted to appear to be a later 135 horse power version. Power tilt and trim were added to the motor at that time. The motor has recently been tuned and includes a new CD ignition and sensors and fuel pump. The motor runs but may need a water pump or thermostat as runs hot with water hose supply of coolant.
